PROGRAM BACKGROUND
When one of the most important things connecting you and your customer is a telephone line, you have to think fast, know your product/service inside out, and at the same time be courteous and sincere. That is a big job, especially when you want to succeed as a telemarketer or salesperson. It solely depends on what you say, not on what you show or how you look. Marketing and selling on the phone can make your job easier by providing tips on what to say throughout your sales calls, even when you are faced with unexpected obstacles. No matter what your product/service is, this Training Program will sharpen your telemarketing skills and improve your sales performance.

This Training Program is designed to enhance your performance and help you achieve the following major objectives.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
This program is designed to enable participants to groove in on exactly how to effectively communicate in verbal with various types of people through telephone and in various circumstances. It also helps smooth out the rough spots in the way they verbally communicate.

The program aims to help the participants as below:

  1. To raise the awareness of effective telephone sales techniques.
  2. To master the art of effective telephone sales presentations
  3. To activate an effective telemarketing program
  4. To motivate salespeople to improve their telephone selling skills.

IMMEDIATE RESULTS
By the end of the training, participants will have a better understanding of human oriented selling skills and are able to execute their duties with confidence and achieve better performance for the organization.

  1. Importance, definition, process, elements, and purpose of Telemarketing
  2. Before the call preparation
  3. Opening statement and benefits
  4. Understand the Telephone Selling Process
  5. Cold call, get past gatekeepers and schedule appointments
  6. Establish rapport and build chemistry
  7. Handle objections and close the sale
  8. Selling on the phone
  9. Closing over the phone
  10. Evaluation and Wrap Up

TARGET OF PARTICIPANTS
This workshop is ideal for marketing and sales personnel and would greatly benefit individuals who plan to make a career in the sales and marketing line. Also, it is suitable for others who have to deal with and manage a multitude of communication tasks everyday and who must possess effective communication skills to succeed in their jobs.

METHODOLOGY
As well as providing a theoretical grounding, the workshop will also give the participants the opportunity to utilize and practice their developing skills and competencies through activities and discussions.
