Seorang sarjana Teknik Industri yang memperluas keilmuan dalam bidang IT (Information Technology) , dengan menyelesaikan Program Master di Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Thailand. Keahliannya dalam bidang IT terbukti pada pengalamannya sejak tahun 1989 sampai sekarang sebagai Staff Ahli System Analyst di berbagai konsultan pada Perusahaaan besar seperti PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricator, PT. Pos Indonesia, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia dan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia. Selain sebagai pembicara pada seminar di beberapa kota besar, beliau juga pernah menjabat sebagai Direktur Utama STIK (Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer) Bandung.

BACKGROUND

  1. E-Procurement enables buyers to embrace the e-business model for the procurement of all products/services-utilizing the internet to create collaborative and strategic relationships with their suppliers to dramatically improve the way their goods and services are purchased.
  2. E-Business – The use and application of electronic commerce models and techniques to improve internal and external processes that impact on the creation, manufacture, storage, and delivery of products across a full supply chain system.
  3. E-Commerce – The use of computer to computer technology to transfer information important to the buying, manufacture, selling, distribution, serviceing, and accounting processes inherent in supply chain activities.

PURPOSE
Untuk mengoptimalkan partnership antara Buyer dengan Seller, sehingga kecepatan dan efisiensi biaya pengadaan dapat dicapai oleh kedua belah pihak. Buyer memperoleh harga yang murah, produk yang berkualitas tinggi, dan pemesanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Sedangkan Seller dapat menjual produknya dengan mengeluarkan biaya penjualan yang lebih murah karena tidak perlu banyak waktu pengadaan dan memerlukan biaya akomodasi dan transportasi yang besar dengan kepastian penjualan yang lebih besar.
Tujuan di atas dapat dicapai karena E-Procurement memanfaatan transaksi ekonomi secara digital melalui internet sebagai alat pendukung utama

Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode interaktif, dimana peserta dikenalkan kepada konsep, diberikan contoh aplikasinya, berlatih menggunakan konsep, mendiskusikan proses dan hasil latihan.
